greendalek303This may just be the lesson I come away with from the year 2009: You don’t get to tell anybody what their priorities should be. What someone else chooses to burn their [energy/passion/money/time/creativity] on is their choice.

bronxelf_ag001 puts it so much more beautifully and in far more lyrically descriptive terms, but... yeah, that’s pretty much the core of it. Don’t tell folks what they should be caring about.
Somebody club me if I start in on the whole "telling-folks-what-they-should-be-prioritizing" thing, huh? Hard. Like, with a frozen turkey or something.
