Doubling as a Throwback Thursday AND as a celebration of the birthday of Tom Baker!

Yeah, that’s me at my first-ever Doctor Who convention in November 1983 –literally days before the much-anticipated airing of the 20th-anniversary episode "The Five Doctors." Mr. Baker then spent the next couple of days doing the tourist bit in Boston, as well as visiting Lexington Green and Concord Bridge. Local legend has it that he approached the first American he saw at the bridge --site of the famous "shot heard round the world" in 1775-- and shook that person’s hand with an apologetic "Sorry about all that you know."
